THE NORTH SHORE MURDERS

A CRIME THRILLER INSPIRED BY TRUE EVENTS

A brutal double murder shatters an affluent North Shore neighbourhood, drawing Inspector Steve Tucker into an investigation where every lead raises more questions than answers. As the case grows more dangerous, the line between his professional and personal life begins to disappear. Inspired by true events and real investigative experience, The North Shore Murders is an authentic Canadian police thriller.

ABOUT THE BOOK

THE INVESTIGATION BEGINS ON THE NORTH SHORE

Inspector Steve Tucker's North Shore neighbourhood, across Vancouver's Lions Gate Bridge, is shattered when his next door neighbours are executed on their front lawn.

What begins as a brutal double homicide quickly becomes far more than a routine murder investigation. Steve and his team are drawn into a complex investigation involving organized crime, confidential informants, surveillance, and undercover operations.

As the investigation unfolds, Steve's past begins to catch up with him. Every lead takes him deeper into a world where loyalties shift, trust is hard earned, and every answer uncovers another question. The deeper he digs, the greater the danger becomes and the higher the personal cost.

Every lead takes him deeper into a world where loyalties shift, trust is hard earned, and every answer uncovers another question.

⎯⎯ POLICE PROCEDURE

Drawing on more than three decades of policing experience, retired RCMP Staff Sergeant Shane Tuckey takes readers inside the realities of Canadian policing, from confidential informants and undercover operations to homicide investigations and organized crime. Every page reflects the realities of modern policing.
